The Woodheads + Team USA

February 5, 2024

The Woodhead siblings—Ella, Dylan, and Quinn—despite differing pathways, are all on the doorstep of representing Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Ella Woodhead, drawn to water polo by her love of swimming and the camaraderie of the sport, cherishes the tactical strategy, teamwork, and physicality required at the highest level. She missed the recent Pan Am Games but remains focused on making an impact at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Dylan Woodhead is drawn to the community and family aspect of the sport of water polo. He appreciates the physicality, intelligence, and team dynamics of the sport. He feels tremendous pride in representing the USA at the Pan American Games and is enthusiastic about the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

Quinn Woodhead discovered water polo at the age of nine, combining his love for swimming with ball skills from baseball and basketball. Despite being initially left out of the Fukuoka roster, Quinn joined the team when a teammate got injured. He is excited about the possibility of representing Team USA at the Pan American Games and focuses on daily training, acknowledging the work ahead before Paris 2024.
