

In a dazzling display of total team water polo, the Yolo 12U Mixed A team put on an offensive clinic to cruise to a dominant 17–3 victory over Marin. From the opening quarter onward, Yolo dictated the pace of the game on both ends of the pool, overwhelming Marin with relentless attacks and suffocating defense.
Despite Annie dropping the opening swim-off, Yolo wasted no time asserting themselves. Declan struck first just 30 seconds into the match to give Yolo a 1–0 lead. Though Marin answered back shortly after, Yolo closed the period with a flurry. Declan added his second of the game, followed by a crisp goal from Audrey and a late strike from William to build a solid 4–1 advantage.
Yolo kept the pressure mounting in the second frame. After Annie once again challenged the swim-off, Justin drew a sharp 5-meter penalty, which William confidently converted to make it 5–1. Yolo’s defense locked down completely for the rest of the half, while Yuga and Tristan added back-to-back goals to extend Yolo’s commanding lead to 7–1 heading into halftime.
Annie secured the opening swim-off of the third quarter to jumpstart a massive offensive wave. Audrey and Tristan found the back of the net early to push the score to 9–1. Then, Jack caught fire, netting his first of the match at 2:42. After Marin managed a couple of goals, Jack answered right back with two more strikes of his own at 6:00 and 7:10, securing a dominant 12–3 lead entering the final period.
Jack took over the swim-off duties to start the fourth quarter and won the sprint, setting the tone for a runaway finish. Yolo poured in five unanswered goals to put an exclamation point on the victory. Tristan and Audrey kept the scoreboard moving before Jack netted his fourth goal of the game. Justin and William capped off the scoring frenzy, securing the resounding 17–3 triumph.
