Alameda controlled the opening sprint as Annie lost the swim-off, but Yolo Polo struck first when William found the back of the net at the 1:13 mark to make it 1–0. Alameda responded with two quick goals to pull ahead 2–1. Yolo Polo answered right back: Tristan leveled the score at 2–2 with a brilliant goal at 4:36. Later, aggressive driving by Declan forced an opponent ejection, and Declan capitalized immediately with a goal at 7:11 to give Yolo Polo a 3–2 lead heading into the first break.

Second Quarter: Defensive Stand

The second period was a gritty defensive battle. While Annie again lost the opening sprint, Yolo Polo’s defense locked down. Yuga applied heavy pressure to earn a crucial 5-meter penalty opportunity at 0:44. Though Alameda tried to claw back, Yolo Polo maintained their narrow 3–2 advantage through halftime, despite an ejection drawn by William.

Third Quarter: Yolo Polo Breaks It Open

Alameda drew even early in the third after winning the swim-off and capitalizing on a 5×4 power play to make it 3–3. However, Yolo Polo’s offense erupted in response. Audrey showed incredible composure to earn a 5-meter penalty at 2:54, which Tristan buried with confidence to reclaim the lead at 4–3.

Though Alameda tied it up once more at 4–4, Yolo Polo dominated the remainder of the quarter. On a powerful drive from the 5 position, Justin rocketed in a goal at 4:56 to spark momentum, followed by a scoring burst from Declan, who netted back-to-back goals to stretch Yolo’s lead to a comfortable 7–4 cushion.

Fourth Quarter: Closing the Door

Alameda attempted a late push after winning the final period’s swim-off, cutting the lead to 7–5. But Annie answered the bell, scoring a crucial goal to restore a three-goal advantage at 8–5. After Alameda answered back to make it 8–6, Annie put the finishing touch on the championship performance with her second goal of the quarter sealing the 9–6 victory and securing the title for Yolo Polo.
