From the opening sprint onward, Yolo controlled every facet of the match, blanking their opponents over the final three quarters while showcasing a balanced and relentless scoring attack.
Annie set the tone immediately by winning the opening swim-off, and Yolo’s offense exploded out of the gate. Declan struck just 20 seconds in to open the scoring, quickly followed by a goal from Justin and a strike from Tristan. Yolo kept the foot on the gas as Audrey and Declan added back-to-back goals. Though NGEN managed to get on the board, Yolo answered right back with goals from William and a stellar strike by Annie herself, stretching a commanding 7–1 lead into the first break.
Annie secured her second straight swim-off win to start the second period, keeping Yolo’s momentum rolling. Yuga opened the quarter with a quick goal at 0:25. After Declan and Justin expertly earned and converted back-tor-back 5-meter penalty shots, Yolo poured it on further. Yuga, Audrey, and Tristan all found the back of the net before halftime, ballooning Yolo’s dominant advantage to 13–1.
Jack took over sprint duties and won the third-quarter swim-off, immediately translating that energy into offense by scoring just 26 seconds in. Yolo’s defense locked down entirely, allowing zero goals through the frame while the offense continued to roll. Tristan notched his third of the game, Jack added another moments later, and Justin caught fire with consecutive goals, pushing Yolo’s lead to an imposing 18–1.
Annie returned to win the final period’s swim-off, and Yolo polished off the blowout in style. Audrey put on a personal scoring clinic, netting a rapid-fire hat trick with goals less than a minute apart. Fittingly, Annie punctuated the historic opening performance with a goal, sealing the resounding 22–1 victory.
